Installation
How the Installation Process Works
Inquiry
Projects typically begin with an email or phone conversation. We’ll discuss how you plan to use the barn, ideal size, and timeline.
Preparation
Once the project is aligned, we confirm dimensions, review site conditions, and schedule the build or shipment. Ground conditions and layout are evaluated to ensure the structure is properly planned from the start.
Build
Your barn is installed by experienced teams or delivered as a complete kit, following a proven construction sequence designed for strength and longevity.
Our Approach to Installation
We offer two ways to bring your barn to life. Both options use the same materials, engineering, and warranty coverage.
Professional Install
Our local installation teams handle the entire build process from start to finish. This option is ideal for customers who want a hands-off experience and efficient project timelines.
Professional installation includes:
Layout of barn dimensions
Drilling, setting, and concreting posts
Installation of lumber top plates and side metal for post-frame walls
Assembly of metal hoop sections
Lifting and setting hoop sections into place
Installation of intermediate purlins and braces
Unrolling and positioning the fabric top
Final tensioning with ratchets along sides and ends
This phased approach ensures proper alignment, structural integrity, and long-term performance.
DIY Barn Kits
Ready for Customers to Build on Their Own
Our DIY kits are complete and designed for straightforward construction using basic equipment. Customers receive the exact same materials we use on barns we install ourselves.
DIY kits include:
High-quality steel structure
Fabric top
Hardware and components
Clear guidance to support your build
These kits offer the same attention to detail and the same manufacturer warranties as our professionally installed barns. The only difference is that the customer provides the labor and equipment.
Frequently asked questions
What is the barn top made of?
Each top is made from woven HDPE (polyethylene), 12.5 oz with 22 mil thickness. All seams are industrially fused for added strength and durability.
How long do the barns last?
Our barns are built for long-term use. The metal structures are welded steel and galvanized, and every fabric top is covered by a 15-year limited materials warranty.
What maintenance is required?
We recommend annual inspections for signs of wear and checking tension on ratchets and straps. No repainting and no roof maintenance are required.
Can you color match my existing buildings?
The color options shown on the Products page represent the available selections customers can choose from.
What materials are included in a kit?
We can provide a full kit that includes lumber, metal siding, hardware, the fabric top, and the steel structure. If requested, we can also supply only the core components and outline materials that can be sourced locally. We’ll help determine the best option for your project.
Are custom sizes available?
We offer a flexible range of sizes to fit your needs:
- Widths: 32’, 40’, and 50’ (each with corresponding height options)
- Lengths:
- 32’ width barns in 6’ length increments
- 40’ and 50’ width barns in 12’ length increments
